+ What age is the SHAAR geared towards?
The Shaar is geared towards college age students and young working professionals.
+ How do I apply?
Fill out the application online right here for any of the Shaar programs. We will contact you shortly thereafter.
+ Am I guaranteed acceptance?
You are only guaranteed acceptance once you receive confirmation. Acceptance will be contingent on a personal interview and references.
+ How do I get there?
Book a flight to New York's LaGuardia or JFK airports, send us the flight info and grab an Uber to the program. We are also easily accessible by New York City public transporation or LIRR.
+ Where do I send my travel itinerary?
Once you have booked your trip please forward your itinerary here.
+ What do I need to pack?
We suggest bringing clothing and shoes suitable for business casual and casual activities, sports, a winter coat (if applicable), as well as appropriate dress clothing for Shabbat. We recommend that you bring a towel & toiletries as well.
+ Is food provided?
We provide three delicious meals daily. If you have any special dietary requirements, please specify on the application.
